The Husky Jerk can be cast or trolled at any speed and still run true, perfectly balanced. The rattle chamber transmits sound waves that amplify through the water, catching and piquing attention. And the suspending action is just more than a fish can handle. Metallic, natural and glass patterns cover the gamut of fishing opportunities. Load up and be ready for any situation.

How to Fish

Husky Jerk success is to crank, stop, crank and take advantage of the neutrally buoyant suspending action this lure is known for. The advantage of the long stops comes most apparent in cold water situations, since the retrieve can be stalled for long periods of time to waken even the slowest fish.
Use a slow stop and go retrieve in cold water and a more aggressive jerk and pause or twitch and pause retrieve in warmer water, when the fish are more active. Remember that even in warm water most predators hit the lure when the retrieve is paused even for a very short time.
To alter the lures swimming depth, keep the rod tip high and twitch upwards for a shallow presentation, or down to allow the lure to run deeper.

How to Fish

Is a perfect choice for both casting and trolling when a deep presentation and a minnow profile are needed. When trolling, use the thinnest line possible to achieve best action and deepest diving. While casting, vary the retrieve: sometimes the steady retrieve will do the trick, but often a stop and go presentation hits the spot.
